Solitaire in Starbucks

Ok, I’m learning that if I “publish” a story, even the rough draft, on my blog it isn’t acceptable in a lot of places. Irony, thy name is publisher rules. A blog that, what, 20 people read is “published”. Even when it’s just the draft, not the final. Whatever floats their cookies…

So… I have this flash fiction (I think it’ll be that short) I’m currently writing, based largely on an observation in Starbucks today. Two hip young women playing solitaire with real, very artistic, playing cards. Not even playing the two-hand version – classic solitaire.

If ya wanna see it, contact me and I’ll email it!

Yes, if you put your work on the Interwebs, it’s published. Doesn’t matter if NOBODY sees it, it’s still published. 😦

Well, I can email it to anyone who wants to read it – and some will let me publish after their ‘zine is past current. This all supposes I get it into one, of course…
